Just My View Of iT

OK, then there are personnel announcements and then there are personnel announcements.

Talk about soft-selling a demotion…
"We want to give you the joyous news of the martyrdom of the mujahed sheik Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.”
I guess a desk job back in the corporate office in Jordan wasn’t an option.

Oh man, the first rule of life was clearly ignored by the former Abu Musab al-Zarqawi…never believe your own press clippings.

A while back, the king of kidnap and beheading, began to get a bit carried away with his own sense of power. He was, in his humble opinion, the ‘dude’ in Iraq that ran the insurgency on behalf of Al-Qaida.

Apparently, Al didn’t see it that way. A few months back we saw, the recently reassigned, Abu waving his gun and making video appearances on Arab television. He was truly getting the best ‘bang for his buck’ for his notoriety and “bombs away “
approach to running his terrorist cell in Iraq. He was letting folks know he was the “man” to be dealt with.

I guess someone found a way to deal with him after all.

According to reports, he was pretty well “narc-ed out” by someone in his organization. Perhaps, it was someone who had bigger ambitions than just holding the banners in the hostage videos.

Perhaps, some of his “homies” were feeling a bit left out or maybe he offended someone a bit farther up the ‘whack’ ladder. I suspect we will never know for sure.

Makes me wonder...an obscure phone call, a well-written email perhaps, how do you go about letting someone know which house to deliver a special package to???

Is there a “whistle blower” clause for these types of deals?

And who collects the $25 million reward?

I mean, wouldn’t that seem obvious?

“Dude, nice new Toyota pick up, must have cost you a fortune?

Regardless, my only hope is that the “fall out” from this power shuffle doesn’t encourage more insanity; but I fear it will.
