What’s in a name?
Apparently, more than you think…
We now live in the Houston area. To say this town is “Oil Friendly” would be a major understatement. Barbra Boxer would feel a tad out of place here. Though, I’m sure she could land a job with the local paper.
Of course, there is also NASA. This town is one haven for the era of space travel. Then again, when I think of space, I tend to think of folks I have met in Fairhaven, but different form of transport there.
Oddly enough, our insurance agent’s name is Dan Rocket.
What are the odds?
Our fence guy is named Adam Desplinter.
Our Congressional Rep is Tom DeLay, a bit of karma there methinks.
And finally, “Twilight Zone” music in full force here, the Realty Company we used to buy our home…Gary Greene.
Scary. Can’t wait to meet the neighbors.
